Parrett and Axe Lodge was Warranted in June 1860.
The eminent Freemason, Dr William Wynn Westcott first joined the Freemasons in this Lodge in 1871 when he moved from London to his uncle's medical practice in Martock. He became the Worshipful Master of the Lodge in 1877.
